Business Support

Develop and implement programs and tools to provide knowledge and resources to enhance business success in this challenging market. This is an advisory committee comprised of representatives from the OLCC small business membership. The purpose of this committee is to provide input to be used by OLCC staff for planning ways to support OLCC small business members in the local community.

Facilities Management

Objective
To insure that the property and facilities of the Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce are well maintained, safe and present an acceptable décor to the visiting public.

Chamber Promotions & Awareness

Objective
To promote membership development by creating products and services for members which increase their profitability and well-being.

Education

Objective
Improve partnerships between area businesses and local school systems and continue workforce development/school to careers programs.

Leadership Programs

Objective
Annually develop and cultivate 20 emerging community leaders for Leadership who dedicate themselves to the betterment of the Oxford-Lafayette-University citizens. Plan and implement programs to educate new class on area’s diverse economy and needs of the area.

L-O-U Bridge Builders

Objective
To successfully promote commonality of interests and mutual support of the Oxford-Lafayette-University of Mississippi community by helping facilitate events and projects whose success depend on shared tasks and goals.

Public/Governmental Affairs

Objective
Maintain a positive and productive relationship between the OLCC and all levels of government and keep members of the Oxford-Lafayette Area abreast of government issues of significance to the business community.

Special Events

Objective
To conduct or help conduct those special community events which promote retail trade, improved quality of life and support other worthwhile community organizations/agencies, and meets the mission of the OLCC. Enhances membership satisfaction, networking opportunities and opportunities to socialize with other Chamber members.
