Currently, the Lafayette County Industrial Park is served by a Railway System, Highway System, Air Service, Motor Freight and Parcel Service.

Railway System
The local rail service is provided by Mississippi Central Railroad.  This system connects with two regional networks of carriers.  Burlington Northern serves the Midwest, southeast, and northwest markets including Canada.  Norfolk Southern serves the southeast.

Highway System
Due to our central location, Lafayette County is within 400 miles of market areas in eleven states.  These states are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

North-South State Routes 7, 9, 315 and 331.
East-West State Routes 6, 30, 314, 328 and 334.
State Route 6 connects with Interstate 55.

Air Service
Local airport:
4,700 foot runway

Commercial air:
Memphis, TN: 5 major carriers, 7 regional commuters
Tupelo, MS: 3 regional commuters
VOR, NDB, Localizer, Unicom Frequency 123.00, AWOS Frequency 132.725

Motor Freight
FTL service is available with any nationwide carrier.
LTL service is available from a minimum of the following carriers:
Yellow, Roadway, Consolidated, SAIA, Merchant Truck Line, M.S. Carriers, Batesville Truck Line and Jones Truck Line.

Parcel Service
United Parcel Service, Federal Express, Airborne, Emory, United States Parcel Service Express Mail and Purolator.
